Alex Q. Šejnost

Hey there,

I’m Alex. I’m training to become a Linux sysadmin while working in back-office administration, currently completing the Engeto Junior Linux Sysadmin course, accredited by the Linux Foundation.

Earlier this year I picked up Rust, and it stuck. I like doing things properly, so a language that is pedantic about everything turned out to be a good fit. Every scenario handled, memory managed correctly, no shortcuts. It can be a love-hate relationship, but I genuinely fell in love with it. One day I want to build my own game in Rust.

This site is where I document what I’m learning. I learn best by writing things down and explaining them. If I can teach it, I understand it. I swear by the rubber duck method.
